The position offers a 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule with every other weekend required, and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Walk-ins are welcome and the team emphasizes reliability and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Unit Clerk experience or knowledge of unit clerk duties required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Answer resident call bells promptly and communicate resident needs to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Assist nursing staff with contacting physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Schedule and coordinate resident medical appointments.
• Assist with distributing meal trays to residents.
• Answer telephone calls and relay messages accurately.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain and organize resident medical records and documentation.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the nursing department.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, nursing staff, and healthcare providers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
