Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Unit Clerk for a full-time day shift in a healthcare facility. The role involves maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients and families in a professional, courteous manner.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work independently or with a team, and possess basic computer skills. Prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical records in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Greet patients’ families, visitors, and staff with a friendly attitude.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Follow security measures to protect patient information.
• Assist with admission/discharge planning as needed.
• All other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities of a Unit Clerk Include:

• Maintain medical records in accordance with federal and state guidelines
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Greet patient’s family/ visitors/ staff with friendly attitude and helping hand.
• Answer phones/ schedule appointments.
• Following security measures to ensure patients’ information is safe and confidential.
• Assist with facilitating admission/discharge planning as needed
• All other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements of a Unit Clerk Include:
