The Medical Assistance Program (MAP) administers public health insurance programs, including Medicaid, for the City of New York. Applying individuals and families are approved for eligibility against applicable Federal and State guidelines. Those found to be eligible can use coverage provided to access doctors, medication, and other health care services at little or no cost.
The Out-stationed Eligibility Division is comprised of Community Medicaid offices located throughout the five boroughs of New York City. These offices offer a full range of services to consumers applying for or currently receiving public health insurance. Consumers can get assistance with applications, submit financial/household information, and obtain eligibility and program information.
This clerical position performs support functions allowing MAP staff to access vital consumer information via HRA Viewer, aiding in timely case processing.
The Medical Assistance Program (MAP) is recruiting for one (1) Clerical Associate II as a Unit Clerk in the Out-stationed Eligibility Division’s Rider Community Office, who will:
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent approved by a recognized authority and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Typing at a minimum of 100 keystrokes per minute.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Word and Excel.
