Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a meticulous Unit Clerk to support residents and healthcare teams. You will handle administrative tasks, coordinate interdepartmental communication, and maintain accurate resident information for daily operations.

As a team member, you’ll answer phones as needed, assist with resident routines, transfer appointments, and help nurses manage documentation in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
• Answer phones as necessary.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer resident call lights
• Report all accidents and incidents you observe as soon as possible
• Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manager
• Transfer hospital appointments and schedule doctor appointments
• Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator
