Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Iowa or multi-state.
• BSN required or completed within 5 years.
• Certification in practice area preferred (e.g., CCRN).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation activities with preceptor, clinical leader and director.
• Provide educational and clinical experiences to develop skills and competencies.
• Serve as validator, super-user, or trainer for annual competencies and processes.
• Maintain accurate unit-based education records.
• Collaborate on department education plan and liaison outcomes.
