Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
• PharmD preferred.
• PGY1 Residency OR minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and manage medication orders to ensure safe and effective therapy.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services and pharmacotherapy recommendations for diverse patient populations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams.
• Support medication therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults.
• Assist with antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and clinical interventions.
• Educate patients, providers, nurses, and pharmacy staff on medication topics.
• Mentor students, externs, and technicians while supporting training initiatives.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and medication-use evaluations.
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory oversight and medication management processes.
• Rotate through ED, ICU, and stewardship services as needed.
