Job description

Position: Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist

The Clinical Pharmacist will work in both ED and ICU areas as a unit-based clinical pharmacist.

1. Medication order entry and verification, medication profile review for appropriateness, clinical services as needed by the specific patient population, and drug information.
2. Participate in multi-disciplinary teams and/or rounds as assigned per practice area.
3. Perform drug therapy monitoring or other pharmacist-managed consults per protocol.
4. Participate in acute patient scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, trauma, etc., for ED/critical care services.

Location: State College, PA

Schedule: Variable days/afternoons (mainly day shifts). 8-hour shifts.

IT: Meditech

Compensation range: Competitive. Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.

Ideal candidate: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD. PGYI or 3 years of current clinical experience. PA pharmacist license or ability to obtain.
