Responsibilities

• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams.
• Support medication therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults.
• Assist with antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and clinical interventions.
• Educate patients, providers, nurses, and pharmacy staff on medication topics.
• Mentor students, externs, and technicians while supporting training initiatives.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and medication-use evaluations.
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory oversight and medication management processes.
• Rotate through ED, ICU, and stewardship services as needed.

What You'll Do

As a Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist, you will:

• Mentor pharmacy students, externs, and technicians while supporting departmental training initiatives
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and medication-use evaluations
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory oversight and medication management processes
• Rotate through specialty clinical areas including ED, ICU, and stewardship services as needed

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
• PharmD preferred
• Active Pharmacist license required
• ONE of the following:
  • Completion of a PGY1 Residency
    OR
  • Minimum of 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced clinical certifications
• Emergency Department or Critical Care experience
• Antimicrobial stewardship experienceli>
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, SIDP, or BCIDP certifications are a plus depending on assigned practice area
