About the Position: This Military Technician position is with the United States Army Reserve Command.

Duties
- Process administrative actions using automated systems.
- Maintain organizational records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Review correspondence for submission to higher echelons.
- Preserve stock levels of organizational equipment.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Successful completion of Unit Pay Administrator Course within 18 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of Unit Administrator Basic Course within 18 months of appointment.
- This position may be subject to the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- The duties of this position may meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs.
- THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
