Job summary

ArborWorks LLC is hiring a Union Journeyman Tree Trimmer to maintain vegetation around utility lines in Washington. The role requires skilled ladder climbing, rigging, and roping with strict safety standards.

You will work in Seattle/Ellensburg area depending on project needs, perform site setup, operate chainsaws and chippers, and participate in ongoing safety training. Union status and covered by CBA apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of line clearance experience.
• Must be a Line Clearance Qualified Arborist.
• Ability to perform all climbing duties without direct supervision.
• Must pass a documented skills assessment.
• Capable of performing general labor tasks for outdoor work all day.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, removing, bucking, and limbing trees using chainsaws.
• Operating and maintaining equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and company vehicles.
• Setting up job sites, managing debris clean-up, and ensuring traffic control.
• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of climbing gear, vehicles, and equipment.
• Execute tree climbing and rigging duties, including roping and notching techniques.
• Support climbers and bucket operators from the ground and communicate with team and customers.
• Participating in ongoing safety and skills training, including aerial rescue drills.
