Job summary

CBRE Union Stationary Engineer role focuses on working, repairing, and maintaining building equipment and systems. This role sits within the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure reliable facility operations.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience; in lieu of a diploma, a mix of experience and education is considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assemble, install, maintain, and repair building systems; provide system support.
• Conduct routine checks on safety devices and correct issues.
• Track and implement technical innovations and developments.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and computerized controls.
• Obtain manual control of equipment for adjustments.
• Document events affecting equipment operation.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across multiple disciplines.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
