Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Union Engineer to join our Engineering and Technical Services team in Reston, VA. You will support site equipment maintenance and instrument calibration, ensuring preventive maintenance, repairs, and documentation are kept up to date.

The role requires 4-5 years of related experience, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to coach others. You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment.
• Address major network problems impacting multiple locations; verify documentation.
• Maintain routine maintenance schedules, configurations, and reference materials.
• Create training documentation and assist user training on updates.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Lead by example and share knowledge across disciplines within the function.
