Job summary

Western Specialty Contractors in Little Rock, AR is hiring a Skilled Laborer to support our branch production team. You will perform brick, waterproofing, caulking, and concrete repair tasks under established safety standards and workmanship quality expectations.

We value self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to read drawings and follow technical instructions. Candidates should have trade or craft experience and be willing to work weekends or out of town as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a trade or craft is preferred.
• Must demonstrate reading, writing and math skills to comprehend safety policies and material instructions.
• Must be able to read drawings.
• Must be able to work with precise limits and judge lines, spaces and proportions.
• Must have own hand tools of the trade.
• May require weekends/nights/out of town.

Responsibilities

• Masons and tuckpointing tasks including brick replacement, lintel work, mortar removal and stone repair.
• Waterproofers: below grade and building envelope waterproofing, coatings.
• Caulkers: sealant removal and replacement around windows and joints.
• Concrete Journeymen: concrete repair, epoxy/urethane injection, grout patching and sealing.
