Job summary

Wilson-McShane Corporation seeks a Retirement Benefit Specialist to provide retirement guidance and benefits support to union members. You will calculate benefit payments, process applications, and communicate with participants to explain estimates and plan details.

The role is on-site in Bloomington, MN, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at a pay rate of $30.10 per hour. Benefits include health, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous retirement benefits experience preferred.
• Experience with Taft-Hartley Funds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare retirement benefit payment amounts.
• Process retirement benefit applications.
• Explain retirement benefits to participants and provide estimates.
• Answer high volume of incoming participant calls related to Pension Plans.
• Meet with participants to answer questions and coordinate with Fund Professionals.
• Interpret and administer retirement benefits as outlined in Plan Documents.
• Draft and mail correspondence to participants and beneficiaries.
