Job summary

Altorfer, a third-generation family-owned company, seeks a Union Power Field Service Technician to join the A-Team. You will troubleshoot and repair Power Systems equipment, complete service reports, and work with SIS and ET manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in electric power generator maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience using SIS, ET, parts, and service manuals.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Power Systems equipment and complete service reports.
• Follow PM checklists and timecards within guidelines.
• Order parts as needed and manage job segments.
• Communicate job status to clients and office staff.
• Perform visual inspections and preventive maintenance on engine/generator sets.
