Job summary

Drexel University in Philadelphia's University City campus is seeking a Union Plumber / Multi-skilled Maintenance employee to service campus facilities and ensure reliable operation of building systems.

The role requires a HS diploma, at least 7 years of maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license; journeyman-level licensing is expected and master-level credentials are preferred. This is a full-time, non-exempt position within the Facilities Management Department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in maintenance work.
• Journeyman-level skills and license.

Responsibilities

• Clear and unclog drains, and repair leaks.
• Respond to service calls for general building maintenance campus-wide (classrooms, restrooms, residence halls, athletic facilities, outdoor work). Calls cover doors, windows, roofs, electrical, plumbing, furnishings, locks and safety items.
• Other duties as assigned.
