Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Illinois is hiring Machine Operators for 1st and 2nd shifts on a temp-to-hire basis. Compensation starts at $19.00 per hour, with stable full-time hours and union benefits after hire, including pension, 401(k), PTO, and raises.

You’ll operate tools and equipment, perform quality checks with gauges, troubleshoot minor issues, assist with maintenance, and keep a clean, safe work area following OSHA procedures. Immediate start date.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Able to read and speak English; basic math skills.
• Comfortable around machinery and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
• Perform quality checks using gauges and tools to ensure product specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and make small adjustments.
• Assist with machine maintenance, repairs, and equipment checks.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work areas and follow OSHA safety procedures.
