Way Engineering is located in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Nashville. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and the ongoing maintenance of these systems. Way Engineering is at the forefront of design build/design assist, pre-construction, commissioning, building information modeling (BIM), and quality control. We are seeking a Lead Service HVAC Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Able to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, installation/operation, and service manuals.
• Provide timely documentation using company service software on the company iPad.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the office to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate accountability for assigned work, including managing time and follow-ups.
• Follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• 5 - 10 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Ability to follow a scope of work.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• EPA license is required.
• Ability to use gauges, meters, measuring instruments, and hand/power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• This position involves driving on company time for company-related tasks. All candidates will undergo a driving background check prior to hire.
