Hyatt Vacation Ownership in the United States is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, train staff, and ensure top cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role requires a valid driver’s license and weekend/holiday availability.

You will oversee guest room and public area cleaning, enforce health standards, manage supplies, and respond to guest needs. Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential, with a focus on safety and cost control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Flexibility in work hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the housekeeping staff and inspect cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
• Provide open communication, training, coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health/sanitation standards and SOPs.
• Assign staff tasks and manage inventory and supplies to control costs.
• Respond to guest requests and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Assist with emergency procedures and safety training.

Hourly Rate: $23.47 Hourly Wage: $23.47 Shift: 1st; must be available to work weekends and holidays Requirement: Valid driver’s license required Position type: Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise the housekeeping staff
• providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling and provide performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency
• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, public areas and back of the house
• ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, SOPs and health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation
• Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquiries to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guest, staff and company assets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
• Flexibility in work hours, scheduled days; must be willing to work weekends and holidays
