Hyatt Vacation Ownership in California is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team across guest rooms and public areas. You will supervise staff, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and brand standards, while maintaining open communication and guest satisfaction.

The role requires weekend and holiday availability, with responsibility for allocating tasks, monitoring inventory, and upholding service quality to support a premier guest

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Flexibility in work hours, scheduled days; must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; provide training, coaching and performance feedback.
• Inspect cleaning of guest rooms and public areas; ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assign staff based on requests and areas of concentration for smooth operation.
• Distribute supplies at shift start; manage inventory and control costs.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to maintain satisfaction.
• Log Lost and Found items and handle inquiries.
• Implement emergency procedures to protect guests, staff and assets.

Hourly Rate: $23.47

Hourly Wage: $23.47

Shift: 1st; must be available to work weekends and holidays

Requirement: Valid driver's license required

Position type: Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling and provide performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency
• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, SOPs and health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation
• Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquiries to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guest, staff and company assets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
• Flexibility in work hours, scheduled days; must be willing to work weekends and holidays
