Job Title

Union Handyman

Job Description Summary

Responsible for performing non-technical general building maintenance and repair duties, light maintenance activities, custodial duties, and minor repairs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform general building maintenance under close supervision.
2. Conduct custodial duties, grounds maintenance, and minor repairs.
3. Assist engineers with general labor tasks, including loading, unloading, moving materials, and running errands.
4. Replace and repair door hardware, locks, and keys.
5. Perform interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation and minor repairs.
6. Replace light bulbs, lamps, ballasts, and clean fixtures.
7. Move furniture, disassemble and set up modular systems.
8. Perform vacancy clean-up and organization.
9. Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer service requests.
10. Maintain landscaping, sidewalks, common areas, and parking facilities.
11. Perform snow removal and leaf sweeping as needed.
12. Comply with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety practices.
13. Utilize technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and building systems.
14. Complete all required safety training annually.
15. Adhere to the company uniform dress code and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications
