Lyman Lumber, a Division of US LBM is seeking Forklift Operators for Our Chanhassen, MN location

Wage: 1st shift starting at $20.25 per hour and 2nd shift starts at $21.25 per hour. With potential to earn up to $27.50 after a year!!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st shift 6am-2:30pm OR 2nd shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

How You Will Spend Your Days as a Forklift Operator:

• Receive in-coming warehouse products, commodities and materials.
• Count and record receipt of materials.
• Stock all material received in appropriate bins or storage locations.
• Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials.
• Operate forklift with foot and hand controls.
• Use forklift to build outgoing orders for lumber and building materials.
• Use forklift to load completed orders onto delivery equipment while maintaining safe procedures and stacking methods.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Check built loads to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Experience: Construction or Building material supplies preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right candidates.
• Physical: Standing and walking for 8-10 hour shifts, exposure to extreme temperatures, bending or stooping, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 75 pounds or more.
• Willingness: Must have the drive to learn.
• Teamwork: Team focused approach to work.
• Excellence: Excellent work ethic and attendance.
