We are hiring for a Mid Shift Forklift Operator at Performance Foodservice. This role involves operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to support our distribution process.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 4 days a week (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), starting at 8 am
• Pay: $20.00/hour during training; after training, transition to our Case Pay Program with average earnings of $26-$27/hour. Top operators earn over $85K/year.

Responsibilities include:

• Locating storage slots, setting pallets, and entering product data
• Replenishing pick slots and rotating stock
• Dispersing over-stocked items and removing empty pallets
• Inspecting pallets, following safety policies, and maintaining a safe work environment
• Performing safety checks, preparing supplies, and completing paperwork
• General housekeeping and equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 6+ months warehouse/distribution experience
• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime
• Physical ability to lift 10-90 pounds and work in multi-temperature environments
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
