Locations include Columbus, Dublin, Hilliard, and New Albany in Ohio, United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Installation and decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
  2. Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
  3. Provide structured feedback on project progress to stakeholders.
  4. Ensure quality workmanship and maintain Data Center cleanliness.
  5. Follow all safety, production, and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve project obstacles.
  7. Read and interpret blueprints and building documentation, including redlining work.
  8. Have a broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.
Skills and Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of basic telecom hand tools.
  2. Ability to lead a crew of 1-5 technicians.
  3. Strong customer service skills, including performing job walks and communicating requirements.
  4. Responsibility for the outcomes of work performed by oneself and team members.
  5. Understanding of job safety requirements.
  6. Ability to read and understand job floor plans.
  7. Familiarity with wiring schemes and testing.
  8. Ability to pull various types of low voltage cables.
  9. Experience with field terminations and labeling.
  10. Ability to maintain organized paperwork and manage large projects and service jobs.
  11. Skill in laying out MDF and IDF closets, dressing cables, and performing terminations, including fiber equipment and fiber/copper terminations.
  12. Basic understanding of testing and troubleshooting copper and fiber cables.
  13. Ability to work in Data Centers.
  14. Capability to work on analog, DSL, and extend T1 lines.
  15. Proficiency in patching network equipment.
  16. Reports to Operations Manager and takes daily directions from various technician levels.
  17. Track and submit timesheets for crew reporting.
  18. Perform job walks and maintain paperwork.
  19. Experience with copper and fiber: terminating, testing, splicing, troubleshooting.
  20. Responsibility for work outcomes.
  21. Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
  22. Understanding metrics and SLAs, and ability to track them.
  23. Knowledge of network handover processes.
  24. Track lessons learned during projects.
  25. Coordinate with QA/QC on quality status walks.
  26. Understand project close-out procedures.
  27. Identify team members’ strengths and weaknesses.
