Job summary

IHC Construction Companies LLC in Bloomington, IL is seeking an experienced Union Concrete Carpenter Foreman for immediate employment on wastewater treatment plant projects. You will direct field personnel, maintain safety, quality, and schedules, and manage project budgets to achieve client goals.

Ideal candidates have foreman experience (5 years preferred), strong leadership and drawing/spec knowledge, and the ability to lead crews and subcontractors in a union setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Foreman (5 years preferred).
• Wastewater treatment plant and transportation experience a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of project drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
• Ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on Waste Water Treatment Plant projects.

Successful UNION CONCRETE CARPENTER FOREMAN Candidate will:

• Overall management of daily operation of the projects
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Create and manage project schedule
• Monitor budgets and controlling cost
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
• Coordinate subcontractors and construction site organization qualifications
• Order material and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process
• Effectively recruit and train new employees
• Prepare daily reports and timecards
