Job summary

IHC Construction Companies LLC in Bloomington, IL is seeking an experienced union concrete carpenter foreman for immediate employment on Waste Water Treatment Plant projects.

You will direct field personnel, manage daily operations, ensure safety and quality, create and manage schedules, monitor budgets, coordinate subcontractors, order materials, prepare daily reports and timecards, and recruit/train staff.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a foreman (5 years preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of project drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
• Ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on Waste Water Treatment Plant projects.
• Direct all field personnel to meet project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Manage daily operations of projects.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and quality are maintained.
• Create and manage project schedules.
• Monitor budgets and control costs.
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site organization qualifications.
