Job summary

Galls is seeking a Seamstress and Embroidery Operator to alter uniforms and equipment for Public Safety professionals. You will use embroidery machines to place logos and personalization on garments, hats, and name-strips, working on a production team committed to quality and service.

You will read instructions in English, take precise measurements, and operate heat presses and sewing machinery to meet production deadlines, with opportunities to learn and grow within a leading national retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in alterations and embroidery preferred.
• Able to read/receive English work instructions.
• Detail-oriented with quality focus.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and identify customer needs per instruction.
• Take measurements and mark garments for alterations.
• Operate heat press safely and efficiently.
• Perform uniform sewing, alterations, and embellishments.
• Set up embroidery and operate embroidery machines.
• Meet production deadlines and inspect merchandise.
• Other duties as assigned.
