Qualifications

• 2+ years tailoring or garment alteration experience (menswear preferred).
• Strong knowledge of suit construction and garment structure.
• Ability to perform fittings independently.
• High attention to detail and craftsmanship standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional alterations on suits, tuxedos, dress shirts, and formalwear.
• Execute pant hemming (plain and cuff), jacket sleeve adjustments, waist suppression, seat adjustments, and garment tapering.
• Conduct accurate and confident customer fittings.
• Provide expert recommendations on garment fit and alteration possibilities.
• Ensure all alterations meet company quality standards.
• Manage alteration timelines to meet customer pickup dates.
• Maintain an organized tailoring workspace and proper equipment care.
• Communicate workload and special requests to store leadership.
• Support the sales team during peak periods as needed.
