Uniform Room Attendant- Hilton Americas Houston (Finance)

The Hilton Americas-Houston is seeking to hire a Uniform Room Attendant to join their Laundry Team!

Located in the heart of downtown Houston, this beautiful 1,207-room hotel is connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center via skywalk and adjacent to Discovery Green Park and Toyota Center, home of the NBA's Houston Rockets.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving and distributing clean, pressed uniforms for team members in the hotel. Additionally, you will support laundry operations and provide sewing and similar services to support the ongoing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Shift: Able to work a flexible schedule that includes mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Uniform Room Attendant, your responsibilities include receiving and distributing clean, pressed uniforms for team members to support outstanding guest service and financial goals. Specific tasks include:

• Receiving, recording, storing, and distributing uniforms
• Washing and ironing uniforms and guest clothing as needed
• Arranging dry cleaning and laundry processing
• Providing laundry, pressing, sewing, and similar services to guests
• Pressing shower curtains and banquet table skirting
• Delivering guest requests for towels and other items
• Performing Room Attendant duties as needed
• Maintaining the linen room and uniform store
• Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
