Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to lead the administration, support, and continual improvement of core infrastructure, including network, servers, virtualization, unified communications, and call center platforms.

The role provides advanced technical support across LAN/WAN/WLAN, supports enterprise phone systems, Microsoft Teams Phone, and Genesys contact center services, working with engineers, service desks, and vendors to ensure secure, reliable technology

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED and 4–6 years of IT infrastructure experience.
Hands-on experience supporting networked systems in an enterprise environment.
Valid driver’s license required.
Associate degree or higher preferred; certifications listed in qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, servers, storage, virtualization, UC, and call center systems.
Monitor network and infrastructure performance; ensure high availability and secure operations.
Provide third-level support for escalated infrastructure and UC issues; assist junior staff.
Manage enterprise phone systems including VoIP and Microsoft Teams Phone; configure users, numbers, extensions, and call routing.
Support Genesys for contact center operations, IVR, queues, and routing policies.
Document system configurations, diagrams, and standards; evaluate new technologies.
