Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. is seeking System Administrators to support the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of mission-critical IT systems and infrastructure.

The role covers UNIX, Windows, networks, storage, and end-user environments to ensure reliability, performance, and security. Positions range from hands-on operational support to advanced systems administration and architectural collaboration, with Level 2 and Level 3 responsibilities and a requirement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• Five additional years of System Administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Level 2 requires 10 years of System Administrator experience; Level 3 requires 15 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems and infrastructure.
• Manage day-to-day operation, configuration, and monitoring of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, network, storage, and OS issues.
• Assist users with system access and technical support requests.
• Support server, storage, network, and mobile device environments.
• Configure, manage, and maintain UNIX, Windows, or other operating systems.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot OS software and network components.
• Analyze and resolve system issues while maintaining performance.
• Support ticket escalation processes and communicate status updates.
• Perform system capacity analysis and resource planning.
