We are currently recruiting a IT Systems Administrator to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Server Management
- Virtualization: Deploy, configure, and manage hypervisors and virtual machines (VMs).
- Directory Services: Administer the Active Directory Domain Controller, managing user accounts, permissions, and Group Policies.
- Storage: Maintain and secure file servers, ensuring proper data access controls and backups.
- Network, Security & Telephony
- Switching: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network switches to maintain optimal uptime.
- Firewall Administration: Implement basic rule changes, monitor logs, and maintain network security protocols.
- VoIP Systems: Manage the corporate VoIP phone system, including extension setups, call routing, and hardware provisioning.
- Endpoint Management & End-User Support
- Deployment: Create, update, and deploy standardized OS images onto company laptops and desktops.
- Helpdesk Support: Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical assistance to local and remote end-users.
- Software Support: Troubleshoot Microsoft applications (Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and other productivity tools.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Certifications: Security+, Network+, CCNA
Experience & Technical Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or advanced Helpdesk role.
- Virtualization: Hands-on experience with hypervisors (such as VMware vSphere/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Networking: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, and basic firewall routing/rules.
- OS Deployment: Experience with imaging tools (like MDT, SmartDeploy, or Acronis).
- Analytical and detail-focused.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Able to manage competing priorities with accuracy.
- Proactive and adaptable.
