Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United States (Ohio/Milford) seeks a seasoned Unemployment Insurance domain expert to lead a team of business analysts and guide complex UI projects end-to-end.

You will drive requirements, analyze gaps, and communicate with client business managers, ensuring compliance and timely delivery for state UI programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on Unemployment Insurance Tax and Benefits.
• Lead UI business analysts’ team; provide guidance and direction.
• Build requirement specifications for deployments of UI projects.
• Coordinate with business teams to build new functionality and set expectations.
• Demonstrate UI systems to clients and prospects.
• Discuss changes in law related to UI with stakeholders.

• 15 plus years of working experience in Unemployment Insurance domain
• Benefits areas (like Claims Intake, Weekly Certifications, Out of State Functions, Monetary and Non-Monetary Determinations, Overpayments, Appeals, USDOL compliance, IRS compliance)
• Tax areas (like Employer establishment and maintenance, Contribution and Wage Reports, Employee Leasing, Billing and Collections, Liens, Fraud and Investigations, Appeals and Cashiering).
• Experience of Unemployment Insurance modernization/ transformation program as a Business Manager or SME is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Requirements Gathering, Application Capability Demonstration, Gap Analysis and Documentation, Functional Designing, Customer Communication.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Visio.
• Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Anticipate change and quickly prioritize accordingly.
• Should have good team skills and should be able to motivate and train his team to understand the Unemployment Insurance business process in detail.
• Should be the subject matter expert on Unemployment Insurance Tax and Benefits.
• Should lead Unemployment Insurance business analysts’ team and provide guidance, direction to them as and when required in regard to Unemployment Insurance Business process.
• Build requirement specifications to ensure seamless deployments of Unemployment Insurance project.
• Build your knowledge of other information systems and be able to speak to their capabilities in the context of our customers’ business.
• Coordinate with the business teams to build new functionality when required and set reasonable expectations with customers.
• Able to give demonstrations of UI systems to clients and prospects.
• Able to lead discussions to assess the impact of any changes in law related to UI.
• Should be able to lead all Unemployment Insurance business processes discussion with the State's team.

Salary Range: $130,000 -$150,000 year
