Old Republic Commercial Risk is seeking a Business Analyst - Underwriting to drive modernization initiatives and data-driven decision making across the organization. You will work with Underwriting, Operations, Technology, and Analytics teams to improve workflows, support NOVA initiatives, and enhance reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of commercial underwriting or related experience.
• Strong interest in analytics and operational improvement.
• Proven collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with underwriting technology implementations.
• Power BI experience required.
• Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Exposure to underwriting modernization projects (e.g., Project NOVA).

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvements across underwriting processes and operations.
• Partner with leadership and cross‑functional teams to boost efficiency and automation.
• Gather and translate business requirements and process maps for initiatives.
• Support transformation programs, including Project NOVA, through testing and adoption.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Analyze performance and data quality to deliver actionable insights.
• Support governance, KPI development, and management reporting.
• Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of underwriting systems.
• Uphold Code of Conduct and applicable compliance standards.
