Job summary

CRC Group seeks an experienced insurance professional to lead underwriting and brokerage efforts for E&S coverage. You will supervise a multi-person team, mentor staff, and manage key client and agency relationships to drive growth and quality submissions.

The role demands strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, effective communication with producers, and the ability to exceed production targets while maintaining compliance and licenses. Washington-based, on-site responsibilities apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation.
• Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S insurance products.
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance.
• Strong understanding of client needs and risk profiles.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed production targets set by management.
• Mentor and develop staff and teams.
• Solicit, market, quote, bind, and confirm new and existing business.
• Negotiate terms with markets and communicate decisions promptly.
• Monitor production metrics and renewal retention to minimize risk.
• Maintain licenses and ensure compliance with policies.
