Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an experienced Underwriter to lead and manage commercial multi-line underwriting duties in a dynamic team environment.

You will underwrite new and renewal business, supervise teams, and cultivate strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes analytical proficiency and proactive risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation.
• 5 years underwriting or 7+ years in the insurance industry.
• Licensure in relevant areas of insurance.
• Ability to analyze components of insurance policies.
• Knowledge of client needs and risk profiles.
• Familiarity with commercial multi-line underwriting and rating.
• Proficiency with automation tools: Windows, Delphi, Word, DocuCorp, Rackley ISO.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed production goals as assigned by Management.
• Underwrite new and renewal business.
• Supervise teams ensuring essential information is communicated.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
• Market all program products and services to clients.
• Communicate timely with producers regarding submissions and decisions.
• Approve and disapprove endorsement requests per guidelines.
• Monitor accounts for policy compliance with firm policies.
• Track production metrics to minimize risk and forecast success.
• Review and handle policy servicing requests and related tasks.
• Review inspections and compare to binding representations.
• Meet or exceed file documentation standards and audits.
• Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.
