Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Underwriting Services Specialist to join a remote team focused on delivering high-quality service for moderately complex accounts.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and timely processing of underwriting transactions. The candidate will analyze information, prepare ratings, and coordinate with brokers and internal teams to ensure SLA targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Insurance designation preferred.
• 2-5 years’ experience in Insurance industry.
• Experience with WC, GL, Property and/or Commercial Auto.

Responsibilities

• Provide service delivery for moderately complicated accounts for policy and endorsement issuance.
• File documentation and set-up.
• Review account information for entry into appropriate systems to ensure quality data reporting.
• Order, prepare and/or update reports.
• Policy rating and/or initial entry into rating model.
• Processing of various underwriting transactions and requests.
• Communicates with brokers and internal functions as the key contact for assigned accounts.
• Booking and invoicing.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Summary:

The Underwriting Services Specialist utilizes customer service skills, established processes, and various software applications to achieve individual and unit targets and to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met. The Underwriting Service Specialist works cross-functionally and is responsible for analyzing key pieces of information and determining the appropriate course of action.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Provide service delivery for moderately complicated accounts for policy & endorsement issuance
• File documentation and set-up
• Review account information for entry into appropriate systems that ensures quality data reporting
• Order, prepare and/or update reports

Education and Experience:

Compensation:

Base salary: $55,300 - $82,700/year

Position is incentive eligible.

Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
