Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Underwriting Services Specialist in Missouri to deliver service for moderately complex accounts, manage policy and endorsement issuance, and ensure data quality across systems.

The role involves rating, processing underwriting transactions, and coordinating with brokers and internal teams. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in the insurance industry, with WC, GL, Property or Commercial Auto experience.

• Experience with WC, GL, Property and/or Commercial Auto is preferred.
• Ability to analyze information and determine the appropriate action.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service delivery for moderately complicated accounts for policy & endorsement issuance.
• File documentation and set-up.
• Review account information for entry into appropriate systems for quality data reporting.
• Order, prepare and/or update reports.
• Policy rating and/or initial entry into rating model.
• Processing of various underwriting transactions and requests.
• Communicate with internal functions and brokers as key contact for assigned accounts.
• Booking/invoicing.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Summary

The Underwriting Services Specialist utilizes customer service skills, established processes, and various software applications to achieve individual and unit targets and to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are met. The Underwriting Service Specialist works cross-functionally and is responsible for analyzing key pieces of information and determining the appropriate course of action.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Provide service delivery for moderately complicated accounts for policy & endorsement issuance
• File documentation and set-up
• Review account information for entry into appropriate systems that ensures quality data reporting
• Order, prepare and/or update reports
• Policy Rating and/or initial entry into rating model
• Processing of various underwriting transactions and requests
• Communicates with various internal functions as well as brokers to serve as key contact for assigned accounts
• Booking/Invoicing
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and Experience

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$55,300 - $82,700/year

• Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
