Job summary

Trustmark Services Company is seeking an Underwriting Operations Specialist to support underwriting and new business processing in Lake Forest, IL. You will manage data across MARK, Access, and Dynamics, assign underwriters, and prepare group materials and renewals, while liaising with agents and internal teams.

The role requires at least 3 years in insurance, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to navigate multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years insurance experience, preferably in medical field.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to navigate several web applications.
• Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to set priorities.
• Ability to achieve/maintain high quality and production standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process assigned new business groups by entering and managing data across multiple systems (MARK, Access, Dynamics).
• Assign new business underwriters and operations specialists.
• Create and maintain new business folders and set up quotes and notes in MARK.
• Review renewal quotes for errors and update group billing materials and plan documents.
• Audit and process monthly renewals and participate in QA testing initiatives.
• Submit EFT forms and process EchoSign documents; assist with medical records and HRA processing.
