Job summary

Acrisure is hiring an On-site Underwriting Assistant in Las Vegas to support the underwriting team with submissions, data entry, and documentation. The role emphasizes accuracy, responsiveness, and strong collaboration with brokers and carriers.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of health insurance experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office. On-site presence is required to enable teamwork and cross-functional partnership.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters with new business and renewal submissions.
• Review submissions for completeness and request outstanding information as needed.
• Prepare and organize underwriting files and supporting documentation.
• Enter and maintain accurate data within underwriting and policy administration systems.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate the collection of applications, claims experience, plan documents, and other required underwriting information.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers and business partners.
• Track submissions, renewals, and outstanding requirements to ensure timely processing.
• Support audits, carrier reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor underwriting inboxes and assist with workflow management.
• Assist with special projects and operational initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
