Our client is an international leading carrier in the Allied Healthcare Professional Liability space. We’re searching for a passionate, people-focused leader to oversee a national growing Allied Healthcare Underwriting team. This division focuses on wholesale distribution strategy across small and middle market accounts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help recruit top underwriting talent and get them up to speed with structured onboarding
  • Lead a team of skilled Field Underwriters, build strong team spirit, keep communication flowing, and drive high performance
  • Coach and mentor your team, giving feedback that inspires growth and sharpens skills

Driving Profitable Growth

  • Partner with product leaders to roll out strategic plans and execute them across regions
  • Keep the business pipeline healthy by managing quotes, identifying opportunities, and steering efforts toward the most promising submissions

Managing the Portfolio

  • Drive the national Allied Healthcare book; strategy, pricing, class management, and rate actions
  • Dive into the data; analyze reports, understand trends, and make smart, data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with product, actuarial, systems, and compliance teams to improve offerings and elevate performance

Sales & Broker Engagement

  • Shape and refine our sales strategy to fit product-specific needs
  • Support underwriters with pipeline management and travel initiatives
  • Be a SME of Allied Healthcare for the organization—attend industry events, present to brokers, and help drive marketing and new business development
  • Lead national renewal efforts and negotiate to retain and grow key accounts
  • Partner with ops, claims, and marketing
  • Look for ways to cross-sell and maximize the value of every broker interaction
  • Help raise the bar across the board—on service, product, and execution
