Job summary

Zurich North America offers an underwriting internship for Summer 2027 in Maitland. The program provides mentorship, hands-on training, and exposure to underwriting, risk management, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of college coursework (rising Junior or Senior).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Experience in leadership roles, campus organizations, or extracurricular activities.
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Responsibilities

• Learn underwriting fundamentals through mentorship and hands-on training.
• Support business unit financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist with preparing financial and operational reports using underwriting and business intelligence tools.
• Support pipeline management and underwriting operations activities.
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings.
• Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis.
