Job summary

Travelers offers a 10-week Business Insurance Underwriting Professional Development Internship Program, running from early June to mid-August. Interns will gain hands-on commercial insurance underwriting experience, on-the-job training, and exposure to the insurance industry from seasoned professionals.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have a Bachelor's degree in business-related fields and have basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree.
• Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in core underwriting training modules and insurance concepts.
• Participate in self-paced professional development courses in time management, presentation skills, and related areas.
• Complete project work and present findings to local leadership.
• Work independently or with other interns and collaborate on team tasks.
• Engage in agency visits with Account Executives as needed.
• Participate in Enterprise Internship events and networking sessions.
