Travelers invites students to apply for a Business Insurance Underwriting Professional Development Internship. The 10-week program runs from early June to mid-August and provides hands-on underwriting experience, on-the-job training, and exposure to the property and casualty insurance industry from industry professionals.

Interns gain familiarity with underwriting principles, analytics tools, and collaboration with other teams, with a view toward a future full-time pathway.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Complete core assignments and training modules related to insurance and underwriting principles.
• Participate in self-paced professional development courses in time management, presentation skills, and related areas.
• Deliver on challenging project work and present findings to local leadership.
