Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is offering a 10-week Business Insurance Underwriting Internship in the United States. Interns will gain hands-on experience in underwriting principles, risk assessment and pricing for commercial insurance products.

You will be learning to use analytical and AI tools, complete core modules, and collaborate with coaches and peers. Housing is not provided, and relocation is not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or obtained a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred or above.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete core assignments and training modules on insurance and underwriting principles.
• Participate in self-paced professional development courses in time management and presentation skills.
• Complete project work and present findings to local leadership.
• Learn to leverage AI tools for underwriting analyses.
• Engage with Risk Control, Claims, and other corporate functions.
• Participate in Enterprise Internship events and networking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
