Job summary

Zurich North America offers an Underwriting Internship for Summer 2027 in Dallas. You will learn underwriting fundamentals, support financial reporting, and gain exposure to client and broker relationships while contributing to risk management strategies.

Ideal candidates are actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields, with at least two years of college coursework and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree; enrolled in Fall 2027
• Two or more years of college coursework (rising Junior or Senior)
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting fundamentals through mentorship and hands-on training
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis for business units
• Prepare financial and operational reports using underwriting tools
• Support pipeline management and underwriting operations activities
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings
• Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis
