Highmark Health offers a Summer 2027 Undergraduate Internship in Underwriting, designed to provide hands-on experience in pricing analysis, financial evaluation, and underwriting operations within a healthcare and insurance environment.

Interns will work with experienced underwriters to support both new business and renewal activities, participate in projects, and gain exposure to analytics, reporting, and tool development while developing professional skills through mentorship.

Formación

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university bachelor's program.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with pricing and risk evaluation for new and renewal business.
• Support client reporting activities and data analysis.
• Contribute to projects to enhance underwriting tools and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate.
