Job summary

DUAL North America is seeking an Underwriting Intern to join our Chicago team in-office. You will work with experienced underwriters, review submissions, and learn pricing and risk assessment through real projects.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's program with expected graduation Dec 2027–May 2028.
  • Prefer majors in risk management, business, or finance.
  • Basic understanding of insurance concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with underwriters to review insurance submissions and assess risk.
  • Learn risk assessment, pricing, and underwriting strategy through real examples.
  • Update records and organize underwriting information for easy access.
  • Research industry trends and summarize findings for the team.
  • Participate in meetings and daily coordination to build professional skills.
