Job summary

DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a curious, driven Operations Intern to join our team for Summer 2026 in San Diego, in-office.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to how a growing insurance organization operates behind the scenes—from producer onboarding to reporting, technology and cross-functional team support. Learn by doing, contribute to meaningful projects, and build practical business and communication skills while collaborating with Marketing and the wider DUAL business.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
  • Able to organize and prioritize tasks with accuracy and detail
  • Clear communication and ability to build relationships with a range of people
  • Take ownership of tasks and follow through on actions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Able to remain stationary for 50% of the time in office

Responsibilities

  • Learn how DUAL partners with producers and supports document collection
  • Build reports, dashboards, and operational metrics for visibility into progress and trends
  • Collaborate with underwriting and operations on day-to-day projects
  • Contribute to process improvement and Salesforce-related updates

  • Participate in team meetings and take on additional projects for the broader Operations team

Role responsibilities

Learn how DUAL partners with producers and support the collection, organization, and review of documents needed to do business with DUAL North America.

Help build reports, dashboards, and operational metrics that give teams better visibility into progress, trends, and opportunities to improve workflows.

Partner with underwriting and operations teams on day‑to‑day projects, research, and follow‑up activities that support efficient business operations.

Contribute to process improvement and technology initiatives, including Salesforce‑related updates, documentation, and user support.

Gain hands‑on exposure to how a growing insurance organization operates behind the scenes while building practical business, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Participate in team meetings, ask questions, share ideas, and take on additional projects that support the broader Operations team.

Key requirements
  • Currently studying towards an undergraduate or graduate degree (risk management, business, or a related subject is helpful, but not essential)
  • Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
  • Able to organize and prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with a range of people
  • Able to take ownership of tasks, ask questions when needed and follow through on agreed actions.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, with occasional movement in the office to access cabinets and equipment
