Meadowbrook Inc is seeking an Underwriting Support Specialist I to assist in reviewing and entering new and renewal submissions and to support underwriting staff in timely renewal preparation and policy issuance.

The role involves data entry of accounts, classifications and exposure bases, and effective communication with underwriters to resolve submission issues, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college/insurance coursework desirable.
• Two years of office/clerical experience in an insurance environment preferred.
• Certification progresses toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Review and enter new and renewal submissions.
• Enter account information: name, address, agency and effective date.
• Enter classifications and exposure base for rate submission.
• Notify underwriters of submission issues and communicate status.
